Landscaping & Horticulture
This high skills major will focus on all areas of landscape design, construction and maintenance as it relates to residential, commercial, industrial and recreational business. Students will gain practical experience with use of various types of materials, processes and techniques used in the landscape and horticultural industry. Teachers will provide opportunities for certifications and experiences outside of the classroom.

Certifications:
The SHSM in Primary Industries: Horticulture and Landscaping requires students to complete five (5) sector-recognized certifications and/or training courses. Of these, four (4) are in areas that are compulsory and the remaining one (1) from the list of additional certification packages. Possible certifications are listed below.
