The Terry Fox Run is an annual non - competitive charity event held in numoerous regions around the world in commemoration of Terry Fox, and his Marathon of hope. This event is held evey year to raise money for cancer research

Almost thirty years ago, Terry Fox was confronted with cancer and faced it couragously. He took his passion, running, and used it to raise money to be used for cancer research. While he never made it across Canada, he has succeeded in raising awareness among Canadians.

Terry Fox began his jounary on April 12, 1980 with hopes of raising $1 million. Currently approximately $500 million would be raised for the Terry Fox Foundation.

TASS has always been a big part of the annual Terry Fox Run. Last year TASS rasied about $11 000 and we hope that number continues to rise. This
